Abstract

In recent years, one can observe the rapid development of political, economic and military-technical ties between Turkey and Russia. At the same time, the Middle East issue plays a special role in the bilateral political dialogue. Contracts for the arms supply serve as a basis for testing the political trust of the two states that occupy leading roles in the Black Sea region. Since this space is as a transit zone between the Euro-Atlantic region and the conflict-prone Middle East, the interaction between Russia and Turkey largely determines the agenda.
