Abstract

Endovascular treatment of ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysms with endovascular aortic repair (EVAR) has revolutionized and remarkably reduced operative mortality compared with historical data. However, ruptured complex thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms (rTAAAs) have continued to result in high rates of death. The objective of our study was to present our single-institution experience with fenestrated endovascular aortic repair (FEVAR) of ruptured complex aortic aneurysms and rTAAAs using physician modified endografts (PMEGs).
