Abstract

In this article, we present some results about what kinds of ruptures and continuities present the roles and gender relations of boys and girls Ecuadorian regrouped in Catalonia. First, we conducted a brief tour of the dominant theoretical approaches in the Spanish academic debate on the sons and daughters of migration. Second, from his speeches analyzed whether their narratives and social, emotional and sexual practices are not or not the ideals of their mothers and their fathers. Finally, we reflect on a generational and intergenerational dialogue if gender roles among Ecuadorian adolescents and have varied in this transnational migration context.
