Abstract
A case in which a 28-year-old female skier simultaneously ruptured the patellar tendon, anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), medial collateral ligament (MCL) and medial meniscus during a skiing injury is reported. Primary repair of the patellar tendon, reconstruction of the MCL, arthroscopic repair of the ACL and the medial meniscus was performed at the same time of surgery. A functional knee brace with limited range of motion was used for the postoperative rehabilitation program. At follow-up, 5 month after surgery, the patient had full range of knee motion, no ligamentous instability and a good quadriceps muscle function.
