Abstract
There was conducted the study of the speed of salivation, physical and chemical properties of oral liquid (pH, viscosity, buffer capacity), status of periodontal tissues (index PMA, and PI) and oral hygiene (OHI-s, Silness-Loe, API, PHP) and scope of preventive measures (CPITN, PSR) in 104 young patients with periodontal diseases on the background of deforming dorsopaties, 94 – with deforming dorsopaties and healthy periodontal tissues, and 123 – with periodontal diseases without deforming dorsopaties. It was established that risk factors of periodontal diseases in young people with dorsopathies are dysfunction of salivation, accompanied by increased viscosity of saliva with the shift of the acid-base balance in the acid side. Significantly? lower results of these indicators in patients with periodontal diseases and deforming dorsopathies compared with those without lesions of the spine, pointed to the influence of premorbid background on the physicochemical properties of the saliva, which cause deterioration of oral health and development and burden of periodontal diseases. Key words: young persons, periodontal diseases, deforming dorsopathies
