Abstract
The co-operative and submissive roles of the RPM were related to “unfavorable” attitudes of 24 staff persons toward delinquency both before and after contact with delinquents. After contact with delinquents, the permissive role was related to “favorable” attitudes toward delinquency. Such findings indicate that the RPM might be successfully used in the screening of prospective employees who are to work with delinquents.
