Abstract
Using alpha-particle reduced-widths to distinguish alpha-cluster states from shell model states it is suggested that the lowest lying 8 + level of 20Ne belongs to the (8p-4h) rather than to the (4p) ground state band. Many new levels and level properties are predicted.
