Abstract
The Russian collection of Dunhuang manuscripts is a priceless treasure of the Chinese people and even of all mankind. This article examines the history of the exportation of manuscripts from Dunhuang to Russia, explores the work carried out by Russian scholars in the aim of systematization of the manuscripts. Particular attention is paid to the problems of returning the Dunhuang manuscripts to China.
