Abstract

The effect of the beta alumina electrolyte based nanocomposite electrodes on charge transfer rate was studied at room temperature. Ionic conductivity of cells with conventional or nanocomposite electrodes rises more than twice at the same electrolyte, cell design, and measurement conditions. The concept predicting electrode losses reduction in the electrolyte-based electrodes is proposed.
