Abstract

This article focuses on the role of thermal moxibustion on the research progress of nursing technology of traditional Chinese medicine on primary dysmenorrhea, which sorts out the information from the following aspects, namely heat sensitive moxibustion treatment of dysmenorrhea syndrome, heat sensitive acupoints detection tools, exploration sites, exploration method, moxibustion, acupoint moxibustion methods, intervention time, duration, frequency and periods, and systematically summed up the wide application of thermal system moxibustion in the field of cold damp stagnation type dysmenorrheal.Pure moxa was considered better for the exploration tool. Exploration was mostly carried out under the site of the abdomen and lumbosacral.Exploration methods were adopted among whirly moxibustion, sparrow pecking moxibustion, moxibustion, meridian and mild moxibustion.Acupoints were mainly fixed on Guanyuan and Ciliao acupoint, combined with syndrome differentiation acupuncture and differentiation during the period of acupuncture to improve the curative effect of moxibustion. Intervention time, duration, frequency and periods were mainly emphasized on the subjective feelings of the patients and lacks of unified standards.It is considered to be more appropriate to carry out the application of thermal moxibustion in Dysmenorrhea 3 to 5 days before the periods.Duration was recommended 1 to 2 hours , and once a day, 6 to 7 days for one course, a total of 3 courses.References were provided for clinical nurses to standardize nursing operation.
