Abstract
Since 1930, on the initiative of the writer Maxim Gorky, idea of the director of the Iinstitute of experimental Medicine in Leningrad L.N.Fyodorov was being worked out on organization of All-Union Institute for comprehensive study of man. By decree of Council of People's Commissars of the USSR dated October 15, 1932 “On the All-Union Institute of Experimental Medicine in Moscow.”
