Abstract
This article describes the development of systematic scientific research in the archeology of the Stone Age in Uzbekistan. The stages and factors of development, existing problems and shortcomings, as well as their causes are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the importance of R. Kh. Suleymanov's research.
