Abstract

The present paper is concerned with a robust H/sub /spl infin// control problem for a linear delay-differential system which suffers from time-varying norm-bounded parameter uncertainties. The basic criterion for the H/sub /spl infin// performance is originated from a quadratic Lyapunov functional. On the basis of the criterion, we have studied the realizability of robust H/sub /spl infin// peformance assuming a linear feedback controller which avails itself of both the present and delayed states. A certain type of robust stabilization has been studied as a special case. Further the realizability condition has been scrutinized to give simple sufficient conditions.
