Abstract

With the support of flexible gas-fired generations and power-to-gas technologies, the integrated electricity and natural gas system (IEGS) is able to achieve a deep penetration of renewable energy. This paper proposes a two-stage robust day-ahead dispatch model for IEGS against the uncertainty of wind power, electricity load and gas load. Nonlinear and nonconvex natural gas flow constraints are relaxed into the second-order cone constraints considering the gas flow directions. Then the Column &Constraint Generation method is adopted to solve the proposed two-stage robust optimization problem. An IEEE 39-bus-20-gas- node test IEGS is used to test the effectiveness of proposed model.
