Abstract
Robie Harris, the author of more than 30 books, was a leader in providing honest, age-appropriate and comprehensive information about sex and sexuality to children, youth and their families. While often a target of censorship efforts, Robie remained steadfast in her commitment to providing accurate, up to date, and inclusive information to young people. She was an inspiration to many in the field of sex education, several of whom provided quotes about Robie’s influence for this article.
