Abstract

Apoptosis has been identified as the mechanism responsible for oocyte loss induced by anti-cancer therapy. Study shows that in vitro oocytes lacking the gene for SMPD1 (Sphingomyelin phosphodiesterase 1) can survival in non-hormone station and resisted apoptosis induced by anti-cancer therapy. This research was designed to test the anti-apoptosis effect after knockdown SMPD1 through RNA interference.
