Abstract

A 46-year-old woman, gravida 3 para 0, cesarean delivery = 3, underwent a total laparoscopic hysterectomy (TLH) for complex endometrial hyperplasia. Six days after the discharge, she was re-admitted with nausea, vomiting, fever, and a sharp left lower abdominal pain. Computerized tomography (CT) scan showed evidence of a bowel hernia on the 5-mm left trocar site (Fig. 1).
