Abstract
One of impressive definition from education is the art of human development. Humans are creatures that has many aspects, or multidimensional. One of human’s potentials that can be developed is their opinion. Because truthfully, a human’s opinion impact on his beliefs, attitudes and actions. With right education worldview, a Muslim will be able to reproduce the ideas underlying the realization of ‘the perfect human’ or ‘universal human’ as a destination for High level of Islamic education. This Papers discuss the profile of Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas and the realization of his ideas about an Islamic university in the International Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilization (ISTAC), it found the superior intellectual of the founder as well as the mastery in some fields of science, it impacts on the quality of educational institutions which he founded. When the idea of al-Attas is adopted to institution, the quality of college philosophy is very noticeable, such as in terms of curricula, courses, educator, architectural design both interior and exterior, also to the library and publishing quality.
