Abstract

The persona design technique, coming from the user-centered design environment, can be used as a tool in the design of improvements for the heritage dissemination, cultural communication and marketing of information spaces such as museums and libraries (user personas, visitor personas, patron personas). The components of personas designed for these contexts are presented, and a systematic review of literature is carried out to detect what different methodologies (qualitative, quantitative or with mix-methods) can be used to construct personas, based on internal or external data, within this cultural context, in 31 scientific publications.
