Abstract
In this supplement the authors have recorded their attempts to study quantitatively on a cellular level the distribution of proteinase and peptidase activities in situ in transplanted autonomous mouse and rat tumours, a few spontaneous mouse mammary tumours and some induced rat sarcomas, and a comparison has been made with the enzymic activities of certain normal tissues with low as well as with high rates of synthetic activity.
