Abstract

ABSTRACTIn addition to questions about diagnoses, wellness guidelines, and treatment concerns, librarians are sometimes confronted with questions about access to care from uninsured clients. The U.S. Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) provides an easy-to-use online “Locator” service for its network of Federally Qualified Health Centers serving low income and/or uninsured individuals across the country. This Locator tool is an important resource for consumer health librarians serving uninsured individuals.
