Abstract
Generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), a chronic anxiety disorder characterized by persistent significant nervousness, autonomic nervous function excitement and excessive vigilance, is the most common anxiety disorder. With the deepening of research, people have a profound understanding of the causes and mechanisms of GAD and for patients with GAD, and there are systematic treatments based on series of clinical evidence and meta-analysis. This article will start with some mainstream treatment methods including CBT, DBT and medication therapy, commonly used in clinical practice, compare their feedback, and discuss their advantages and disadvantages.
