Abstract

The article provides an overview of research on the emotional intelligence (EI) of basketball athletes. The analysis of literary sources was used as a research method. The review focuses on the importance of EI in sports, especially in team games such as basketball, where psychological stability and interaction between athletes play a key role in achieving success. Research data prove that the level of development of emotional intelligence in basketball players affects the increase their psychological stability and psychological reliability.
