Abstract

AC/DC Hybrid Microgrid is an important part of Smart Grid in the future. It has prominent advantages in solving the energy crisis and environment. Compared with AC microgrid and DC microgrid, hybrid microgrid has high reliability, low construction and operation costs, and strong adaptability to various sources and loads. However, the development of AC/DC hybrid microgrid is hindered by power exchange and coordination control caused by various operation modes. This paper introduces the development of microgrid and outlines the coordinated control strategies and methods for AC, DC and hybrid microgrids. This paper summarizes the commonly used control strategies from the aspects of equipment, sub-microgrid and inter-microgrid control, and analyzes the application characteristics and existing problems of each method. Finally, the problems existing in the development and application of AC/DC hybrid microgrid are analyzed and prospected.
