Review Jurisdiction of the ADGM Courts

Abstract

The Abu Dhabi Global Markets Courts, alias, the ADGM Courts are one of the common law courts in the UAE. The ADGM Courts carry their own procedural rules and jurisdictional structure. One of such important structures pertains to the exercise of review jurisdiction. This article attempts to present an outline to the same as per the ADGM Court Procedure Rules 2016 (ACPR’16), and the ADGM Courts, Civil Evidence, Judgments, Enforcement and Judicial Appointments Regulations 2015 (ACR’15).
