Abstract
Retraction: "Effects of shRNA-Mediated Silencing of PKM2 Gene on Aerobic Glycolysis, Cell Migration, Cell Invasion, and Apoptosis in Colorectal Cancer Cells," by Xiao-Ling Yan, Xue-Bin Zhang, Ran Ao, Lin Guan, J Cell Biochem. 2017; 4792-4803: The above article, published online on 19 May 2017 in Wiley Online Library (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/jcb.26148) has been retracted by agreement between the the journal's Editor in Chief, Prof. Dr. Christian Behl, and Wiley Periodicals LLC. The retraction has been agreed following an investigation based on allegations raised by a third party. A detailed investigation revealed that several image elements of the experimental data were published elsewhere in a different scientific context. Thus, the editors consider the conclusions of this article to be invalid.
