Abstract
Reported here is a new 3D Sm(III) coordination polymer, namely [Sm2(IN)5(NO3)(HIN)]n ( 1 , HIN = isonicotinic acid), which was synthesized the solvothermal reaction of HIN and Sm(NO3)2·6H2O. The structure of 1 was characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, elemental analysis and powder X-ray diffraction analysis. The thermal behavior investigation indicated that compound 1 can be stable up to 307 °C. Upon excitation of 290 nm, compound 1 exhibits the characteristic emission of Sm(III) ions. Its treatment activity on the preeclampsia (PE) was evaluated and the related mechanism was explored at the same time. • A new 3D Sm(III) coordination polymer was synthesized. • The structure of 1 was characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. • Compound 1 exhibits the characteristic emission of Sm(III) ions. • Its treatment activity on the preeclampsia (PE) was evaluated and the related mechanism was explored at the same time. Reported here is a new 3D Sm(III) coordination polymer, namely [Sm 2 (IN) 5 (NO 3 )(HIN)] n ( 1 , HIN = isonicotinic acid/pyridine-4-carboxylic acid; IN − = the isonicotinate ion), which was synthesized the solvothermal reaction of HIN and Sm(NO 3 ) 3 ·6H 2 O. The application values of the new compound on the preeclampsia (PE) were evaluated and the related mechanism was explored as well.
