Abstract
Since the publication of Harry Braverman's Labor and Monopoly Capital (Monthly Review Press, 1974), we have received a number of letters and comments from workers about what the book meant to them. Recently one correspondent wrote: "I too have just read Harry Braverman's book. It was indeed a powerful experience, and I was left feeling alternately exhilarated and depressed; as a 'semi-skilled' VDJ-typesetter and paste-up 'artist' I'm glad that the story is out, and that Harry Braverman could detail what I'd had a gut feeling about for a long time."
