Abstract
Prototypes of large drift chambers, designed to measure the coordinate of the muons along the electron positron beam direction in the L3-LEP muon spectrometer, have been built in the CIEMAT-JEN. We report measurements of the drift velocity and space resolution obtained with these modules.
