Abstract
In the frame of the LVD experimental program in the INFN Gran Sasso National Laboratory (LNGS), we performed a 3-ton Gd experiment, by loading (up to 0.1% in weight) the LVD organic liquid scintillator with a Gd organic salt developed and produced as the result of a joint INFN/INR research activity. Performances, feasibility and preliminary results on stability have been presented.
