Abstract
This paper considers the possibility of restoring the splined surfaces of the drive shafts of axial pumps having specific wear by the electric spark doping (EIL) method, with the creation of coatings on their working surfaces, with corresponding mechanical characteristics. Electrode materials and processing modes are selected. Studies were carried out to determine the processing modes to obtain the optimal roughness of the applied coating.
