Abstract

Abstract: Inspired by the critical cluster and volume, Queer Iberia , Jean Dangler discusses how the scholarship of Louise Vasvàri, Daniel Eisenberg, and Leora Lev illustrates the implied political, cultural, and linguistic significance of Al-Andalus for Spanish Studies and more broadly for the history of sexuality. Dangler concludes that Al-Andalus and Christian Iberia were often diverse and accommodating places, even as late as the fifteenth century.
