Abstract

Thank you for your interest in our early investigations of transcervical sterilization with polidocanol [ [1] Jensen J.T. Rodriguez M.I. Liechtenstein-Zabrad J. Zalanyis S. Transcervical polidocanol as a nonsurgical method of female sterilization: a pilot study. Contraception. 2004; 70: 111-115 Google Scholar ]. Our purpose was to investigate the usefulness of the rhesus macaque model for evaluation of candidate agents for nonsurgical female sterilization. The introduction of an easily administered, safe and highly effective method of nonsurgical sterilization would have profound impact on improving human health.
