Various approaches and models to the study of the stress-strain state of thin-walled structures are considered. The theory of open profile rods developed by V.Z. Vlasov, and mathematical models of multilayer slabs. Resolving equations for a three-layer slab consisting of 2 rigid layers are given, the interlayer between them is considered as an elastic foundation with two characteristics.
