Abstract
In the greenhouse, resistance to the yellow sugarcane aphid, Sipha flava (Forbes), was transferred from Triticum tauschii (Coss.) Schmal to wheat, Triticum aestivum (L.) by standard wheat breeding procedures. Backcross F 2 and F 3 data indicated that a single dominant gene confers resistance.
