Abstract

Ion exchangers and gels for chromatography synthesized by the authors are decribed. Resins and gels for chromatography have been prepared based on copolymers of styrene and p- or mdivinylbenzene. They are characterized by their high purity, homogeneity of granular composition, high mechanical strength and stability, and the reproducibility of their properties. The properties of some organomineral ionites and ion-exchange cloths which show promise in their use in chromatographic processes are presented.
