Abstract
A number of major and key military transportation projects will be launched consecutively in the Twelfth Five-year Plan period, bringing new opportunities and challenges to scientific information service. The concerns deserving attentions and considerations of scientific information departments and workers are to understand the project needs, to pool all efforts to further develop the resources and to improve their services, in order to meet the information needs of major and key projects. In this paper, the author aims to build up the scientific information support system for major and key military transportation projects in the Twelfth Five-year Plan period and proposes constructive suggestions for developing support system.
