Abstract
According to aircraft performance and related flight criteria, real-time automatic flight simulation and validation are executed to validate performance-based navigation (PBN) flight procedures. In this paper, the framework of real-time simulation system is proposed. Flight procedure data transformation process is researched and three-dimensional flight air routes are used to display the flight routes and protected areas of PBN flight procedure. The mathematical modeling of large-scale terrain is studied with Geometry Clipmap and Clipmap structure, and the navigation system model is set up based on the dynamics and kinematics of aircraft. The simulation shows, the system can realize the realtime flight simulation to validate PBN flight procedures, and this ensures the integrity, effectiveness and availability of PBN flight procedure design.
