Abstract

Innate lymphoid cells (ILCs) are newly identified innate immune cells which play an important role in protecting the body by initiating innate immunetoresist infection, tissue damage and internal environment imbalance.Their functional diversity making it a new hot spot in mucosal immunity research.ILCs are involved in a wide range of respiratory disease processes, playing an important role insuch processes: remodeling of lung damaged tissuecaused by influenza virus infection, induction of acute allergic asthma, and promotion of pulmonary fibrosis.In COPD, the research on ILCs is gradually carried out and it is expected to develop a potential therapeutic target for COPD.This article reviews the research progress of the role of ILCs on COPD.
