Abstract

Diabetic autonomic neuropathy is a common chronic complication of diabetes, in which patients with cardiovascular autonomic neuropathy are increasing. It is closely associated with increased incidence and mortality of cardiovascular disease, chronic renal failure, but there is still no unified diagnostic methods. In recent years, early detection and evaluation of diabetic cardiovascular autonomic neuropathy can reduce the risk of death by using heart rate variability, radionuclide scanning, corneal confocal, and sweat secretion. Key words: Diabetic cardiovascular autonomic neuropathy; Heart Rate variability; Cardiac autonomic reflex tests
