Abstract
The tank gun is the main battle weapon of the tank. It is mainly used to destroy and suppress enemy tank armoured vehicles, eliminate living forces and destroy fortifications. However, after repeated use of artillery for a long time, projectile muzzle velocity and maximum pressure will decrease. Shortening distances and increasing the area of projectiles will greatly affect the ability of artillery to carry out combat missions. Taking the gun barrel as the main research object, the main factors that cause the muzzle velocity of the artillery muzzle projectile to be reduced are analyzed. The mechanism of the muzzle velocity is analyzed, and the method for calculating the muzzle velocity decrease is explored, which is of great significance for improving the accuracy of artillery firing. It also provides reference for estimating the life of gun barrels.
