Abstract

Tuberculum sellae meningioma (TSM) is a meningioma originating from tuberculum sellae, chiasmatic sulcus and diaphragm sellae. TSM and other suprasellar meningiomas have their specificity in clinical manifestations, epidemiology, pathology and anatomy, as well as tumor classification and protection of olfactory meridians during operation. In this paper, the characteristics of the above-mentioned TSM were retrospectively analyzed and summarized, in order to provide reference for improving the curative effect of surgical treatment of TSM.
