Abstract

Cervical cancer is the most common female genital tract malignancy in China. Nearly 80% patients with cervical cancer receive radiotherapy in their treatment, including postoperative adjuvant radiotherapy, radical radiotherapy, or palliative radiotherapy for recurrent cervical cancer. The article focused on delineation of target volume, the process of implementation, advantages and disadvantages, and recent research progress of both external beam radiotherapy (EBRT) and brachytherapy (BT) for cervical cancer.
