Abstract

Image rejection mixer and low noise amplifier (LNA) are the key components of the receiver system. After low noise amplification, the received RF signal is moved to the IF frequency and the interference signal at the image frequency is suppressed. Image rejection receiver is widely used in microwave communication, global positioning system, remote sensing and other systems, which is an essential circuit of the above systems. This paper introduces the research background and significance of Ka band monolithic integrated image rejection receiver, summarizes and prospects the research progress at home and abroad. Finally, a new integration scheme is proposed, which can reduce chip area and cost without reducing performance.
