Abstract

Pregnant women with full-term pregnancy often need to terminate their pregnancy early due to their own or fetal conditions. Clinically, a series of artificial measures are often used to help promote cervical ripening and induce uterine contractions, so that the fetus can be successfully delivered. This article reviews the methods of induction of labor in term pregnancy, including oxytocin, misoprostol, dinoprostone, phloroglucinol, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), disposable cervical dilation balloon, COOK balloon, the balloon bionic midwifery, Foley urine tube, breast massage, amniotomy, and acupuncture, so as to provide ideas for clinical implementation of full-term pregnancy induced labor. Key words: Induced labor; Oxytocin; Misoprostol; Dinoprostone; Ballon catheter; Amniotomy
