Abstract

The performances of dielectric film capacitors depend directly on the dielectric materials. High-performance capacitors must be supported by dielectric materials with high dielectric properties and high energy storage density. The dielectric constant of conventional dielectric materials has inherent contradiction with its dielectric strength, therefore, the development of a new film dielectric material with excellent dielectric performance and suitable for efficient energy storage density is conducive to greatly increasing the capacity of capacitors and miniaturization of applications. This paper introduces the research progress of high-performance with nanofiller modified film materials, discusses the modification technology on improving the electrical properties, and discusses the feasible blending, grafting and nano modification technologies of polypropylene. The analysis shows that the modification of nano - blend polypropylene can improve the dielectric constant and dielectric strength of materials.
