Abstract
It was observed that general anesthetics, such as Ketamin, midazolam, N2O, Diprivan and isoflurane, could trigger the apoptotic neurodegeneration in developing neurons of brain through blocking of NMDAR and/or overactivation of GABAR.The apoptosis is closely associated with the following factors: duration of medication, drug dose, coadministration with other drugs, age of mouse. It is comfirmed by neuroethology tests that the apoptosis will exert lasting influence on learning and memory in the future. Key words: Apoptosis; Ethanol; GABAA receptors; NMDA receptors
