Abstract

X-ray tube is a important part of fluorescence spectrometer. Its diffraction intensity and spot size play a decisive role in the detection quality of X-ray fluorescence spectrometer. Through the discussion of theoretical analysis and experimental data of correlation experiments on X-ray generation mechanism, X-ray tube structure characteristics and target materials, we propose a method to improve the Xray diffraction intensity. The result shows that a larger diffraction intensity can be obtained by reasonably designing the parameters of the X-ray tube. Compared with the X-ray tube before improvement, the diffraction intensity can be increased by more than 5 times.
