Abstract
Dedicated short range communication (DSRC) technology is one of the basic technologies of intelligent transportation system (ITS), which can provide high speed data transmission as well as ensure low latency of communication link and system reliability, and it’s devoted to vehicle short range wireless communication to establish a two-way information transmission between vehicle-to-road and vehicle-to-vehicle. This paper elaborates the structure and technical features of DSRC protocol, analyzes several existing DSRC protocol standards, and cites the instances of the application of these standards as well, which will provide a reference for the formulation of DSRC standard of our country.
