Abstract
Focus on the problem of poor dynamic performance and huge torque ripple of traditional direct instantaneous torque control for switched reluctance motor, this paper aims at the 3-phase 6/4 pole switched reluctance motor drive system, proposed a PIbased speed control module which optimized by using fuzzy control to restrain the torque ripple and increase the dynamic properties. A simulation model is designed with MATLAB. It can be seen from the results that the speed reaches a stable state at about 0.025s after adopting the fuzzy PI direct instantaneous torque control strategy. The new control strategy increases the dynamic properties of the motor and the torque ripple suppression ability of the motor.
